Tipperary County Council has partnered with the North and South Branches of Tipperary Macra Na Feirme for a live debate on the theme of our membership of the EU as Ireland celebrates the 50th anniversary of joining the EU.  This will be held on Tuesday May 9th at 8.00pm in Horse and Jockey Hotel.

It is anticipated that the new programme shall open for applications in Q4 2023, and hopes to build on achievements from delivery of previous programmes. Funding will be available for both commercial and community-based projects.

Water Safety Ireland Course’s 2023, Pool Lifeguard Course is scheduled to take place during April and May. 

Applications for burning exemption are open until the 1st March, and for a further period from 1st September to 30th November 2023.

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Friday 17th March 2023.

The demolition of a terrace of 3 No. existing two storey dilapidated buildings, clearance of vegetation and the construction of 9 No. new dwelling units comprising 3 No. new two bedroom, two storey terraced houses and 6 No. one bedroom apartments in two separate two storey blocks with revised footpaths, underground services, attenuation area, car parking spaces, boundary treatments, bin storage, landscaping, open spaces and all associated site works.

Refurbishment and re-purposing for training, educational and office use of the three storey Dan Breen House which sits centrally within the application site currently with an adjoining brick-built side extension.
