Museum of Hidden History

This is a state-of-the-art visitor experience in the civic centre of Clonmel, Co. Tipperary in the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East. Completely re-imagined and redesigned, the new Museum brings Tipperary’s rich hidden history vividly to life through characters, stories and is one of the largest museum collections in Ireland.

Tipperary Museum’s collection was first founded in the 1940’s and was the first purpose-built Local Authority County Museum in Ireland.

South Tipperary Arts Centre

The arts centre is situated in a beautiful, light-filled Modernist building near the River Suir on Nelson Street. The building houses a gallery and a spacious workshop.
