Tipperary Children and Young People’s Service Committee (CYPSC)

Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC) are a key structure identified by Government to plan and co-ordinate services for children and young people in every county in Ireland.  The overall purpose is to improve outcomes for children and young people through local and national interagency working. 

Children and Young Persons Services Committee

Tipperary Children & Young People’s Services Committee (CYPSC) had its inaugural meeting in July 2015. It launched its Children and Young People’s Plan in January 2019 . It has been formed in alignment with the administrative area of Tipperary County Council.Tipperary CYPSC is a strategic inter-agency committee of which Túsla Child and Family Agency is the coordinator.

The Director of Service for Community and Economic Development Chair’s the committee. It brings together the main statutory, community and voluntary providers of services to plan and to work together for better outcomes for children and young people.
