The TEA has assisted Tipperary County Council to achieve a total of €1.4 million savings and reduced energy consumption by 13,619 MWh, saving a total of 79,449 MWh cumulatively since 2006. 
The preliminary 2018 Monitoring & Reporting results show that Tipperary County Council has improved its energy performance by 35%, already beyond its 33% target for 2020. 
There are 48 projects agreed as part of the 2019 Action Plan. 
When  implemented these could save TCC a further up to 1,048,980 kWh and €116,007 per year. This represents a further 2% past the 33% target (2020) and towards the 2030 target of 50%.
