Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC) are a key structure identified by Government to plan and co-ordinate services for children and young people in every county in Ireland. The overall purpose is to improve outcomes for children and young people through local and national interagency working.
Local authorities, together with other agencies, support interagency groups to coordinate and improve the delivery of services to members of the traveller community.
Local authorities may provide financial support to private homeowners who do not have access to a public water supply or group water scheme to bore a new well, upgrade an existing well or install a treatment system.
