Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC) are a key structure identified by Government to plan and co-ordinate services for children and young people in every county in Ireland. The overall purpose is to improve outcomes for children and young people through local and national interagency working.
Local authorities may provide traffic calming measures such as signs, road markings, bollards, modified road surfaces, speed ramps and cushions to reduce speed rates and increase road safety.
Local authorities, together with other agencies, support interagency groups to coordinate and improve the delivery of services to members of the traveller community.
