1. Third Tipperary Brigade Old IRA Commemoration Committee
This committee hold their annual programme of commemoration events while also celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the founding of their group.

2. Cahir Social & Historical Society
Daughters of Dún Iascaigh
The people of the town of Cahir woke up to a surprise installation on the morning of 8 March 2021. In a unique community initiative, compliant with COVID-19 restrictions and supported by Tipperary County Council and Cahir Social and Historical Society, Cahir celebrated International Women’s Day.
By stealth and under cover of darkness the previous night, the Daughters of Dún Iascaigh, a small team of local women, who were dressed in Cumann na mBan uniforms and other costumes of the period, secretly erected 24 temporary plaques at key locations to acknowledge the contribution women have made to the town and surrounding area over the centuries.

"A Life for a Life"
Cahir Social and Historical Society has produced a series of videos called "A Life for a Life" which marks the centenary of a tragic, local chapter from the War of Independence. Covid-19 restrictions were followed during the production of the series. Some characters are fictional and have been created for dramatic effect.

3. The Source Arts Centre
“Ceasefire” is a project based at the time of the “Ceasefire” after the War of Independence. This project will involve two writers creating a dialogue reminiscing on the recent events which shall be recorded in the Source Arts Centre Thurles and made available to the public.

4. Up till Dawn Productions & Clonmel Junction Arts Festival
The Kickham Barracks Story- a sound installation based on the story of Kickham Barracks, Clonmel and made available to the public during the Clonmel Junction Arts Festival 2021 taking place in July.

5. Fethard Historical Society & the Lee Family will celebrate the Tommy Lee centenary throughout 2021 with an event and booklet.

6. Tipperary Excel Heritage Centre
Tipperary in 1921 – Wartime Wedding – Truce
A two day event in the Excel Heritage Centre remembering this time period in Tipperary, focusing not only on historical and political events but also the impacts on the social, cultural, educational, sporting and recreational features of everyday life at the time.
