Appointments will be subject to receipt of satisfactory Garda Vetting.
Depending on the number of applications received, candidates may be short listed based on the information provided on the application forms.
Panel may be created as a result of the above competition from which vacancies arising during the lifetime of the panels may be filled.
Candidates who hold the Water Safety Ireland National Pool Lifeguard Award Level 2 can apply for the position. Any candidate who is successful at interview stage will have to complete the WSI National Inland Open Water Lifeguard Award before appointment. It is anticipated that this course will run the weekends of the 11th & 12th of May and the 18th & 19th May. This will be confirmed with all successful applicants.
