Decision To Close The N24 Cahir Bypass, Between The Knockagh Roundabout And The New Inn Roundabout, Cahir, Co. Tipperary

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:Westbound lane between the Knockagh Roundabout and the New Inn Roundabout will be closed. 

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: Nightly from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs on 7, 8 ,9, 12, 15, 16, 19 and 20 June 2023.          

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:     Eastbound lane (Waterford direction) between the New Inn Roundabout and Knockagh Roundabout will be closed.

Westbound lane (Limerick direction) between the Knockagh Roundabout and the New Inn Roundabout will be closed for approximately 1-2hours.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: Nightly from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs on the 13 and 14 June 2023.      

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Westbound and Eastbound lanes between the Knockagh and New Inn Roundabouts for the second half of the night.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: Night-time from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs on the 15 June 2023.                              

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Westbound lane between the Knockagh Roundabout and the New Inn Roundabout in the Limerick direction will be closed.              

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: Daytime from 10:00hrs to 13:00hrs  

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Diversion will be via Cahir Town on the R640 and R913 Mitchelstown Road onto the R639 towards New on 09 June 2023.                  

REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate road works.
