Local authorities, together with other agencies, may support community and voluntary groups to showcase initiatives that have created a long lasting impact in their community such as creative wellbeing, place and community tourism projects.
Local authorities may develop initiatives to attract people to live and work in rural communities such as enterprise and employment projects, transport initiatives, broadband services, digital hubs and e-working spaces.
Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC) are a key structure identified by Government to plan and co-ordinate services for children and young people in every county in Ireland. The overall purpose is to improve outcomes for children and young people through local and national interagency working.
