Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Lough Derg Visitor Experience Development Plan 2020-2024

Pursuant to Article 16 of SI No. 435/2004 - European Communities (Environmental Assessment of Certain Plans and Programmes) Regulations 2004, notice is hereby given by Tipperary County Council, that the Lough Derg Visitor Experience Development Plan 2020-2024 was adopted on the 2/12/2020.

A copy of the adopted Lough Derg Visitor Experience Development Plan 2020-2024 and SEA Statement will be available for inspection below and at Tipperary County Council office, Limerick Road, Nenagh E45A099.

The SEA Statement summarises how environmental considerations have been integrated into the Visitor Experience Development Plan, how the environmental report prepared pursuant to article 12 of the above mentioned regulations, submissions and observations made to the competent authority in response to a notice under article 13, and any consultations under article 14, have been taken into account during the preparation of the Visitor Experience Development Plan, the reasons for choosing the Visitor Experience Development Plan, in the light of the other reasonable alternatives dealt with, and the measures decided upon to monitor, in accordance with article 17, the significant environmental effects of implementation of the Visitor Experience Development Plan.
