Domestic Lead Remediation Grant

Grants Payable Under the Domestic Lead Remediation (Financial Assistance) Regulations 2016 (S.I. No. 56 of 2016).

The Department of Environment, Community and Local Government has put a grant scheme in place to reduce exposure to lead in domestic drinking water. The scheme will assist low-income households with the cost of replacing lead pipes and fittings within their homes. The value of a grant payable is determined on the basis of gross household income and subject to maximum of either €4,000 or €2,500 depending on one’s income.
