Local authorities may monitor economic performance indicators. These indicators include employment, enterprise, investment, housing, consumer behaviour and commercial property to benchmark their progress against local and national policy targets.
You can send the local authority a request to access official records. You can also ask that your personal records are amended or deleted if they are incorrect or misleading. You have the right to request reasons for decisions taken by the local authority which affect you and the right to appeal the decision.
Local Community Development Committees may provide financial support to community and voluntary groups to raise awareness of and improve health issues such as obesity, smoking, alcohol and drug misuse, increase public participation in physical activity and address health inequality.
