Accessibility Statement

We have designed this site to be accessible to everyone. Tipperary County Council is committed to the provision of an accessible Web Site, and to achieve WCAG double AA standard. The Navigation routines and the Core Dynamic pages have been tested to conform to W3C Accessibility Guidelines. This site is monitored on a regular basis and accessibility is an important part. It is not possible to predict every possible difficulty a user might have in accessing information on the site.

CCTV And Other Surveillance Technologies Policy

For a free, unrestricted and unworried life people need to feel safe. In this context, having "eyes on the ground" in order to deter and reduce crime and offences, to better understand and respond to emergencies and to create safer communities is a key challenge for the County Council. Many communities have requested over the years the installation or an increase in the presence of CCTV for a better response to local concerns in relation to public order and safety in public places, dealing with offences and increasing the overall community safety.
