Public Lighting is a highly valued and visible asset with the potential to make a significant contribution to the wider community in terms of accessibility, road safety and the fostering of commercial activity.

Tipperary County Council currently has a stock of approximately 16,000 lights and this is likely to increase in the future due to the taking in charge of housing estates, construction of new housing schemes, new road schemes and urban renewal.
